I've set permitted credit control area in "Assign Permitted Credit Control Areas to Company Code" in FI IMG, then I can select different credit control area in customer master & FD32.

I think we can not assign more than one credit control area to one company
code.
But, one credit control area can be assigned to many company codes.
If we have created any "Customer" in several company codes that are using
different credit control areas, then.... separate or different credit limits
has to be maintained for the customer in each of the different credit
controlling areas.
Please let me know if I am wrong.
