Hi Roy,

I used some of the suggestions from the members one of them was to get the last posted document number and enter the one following the last posted document number in the from number range for depreciation posting and was able to post the depreciation now in period 6 for the depreciation that didn't post in 2007. It only managed to update the g/l account for fixed assets but the indicator is not marked with X in table TABA. And now I can't run depreciation for 2011 because of the error message above.

The depreciation didn't post completely in 2007. How do I update table taba without opening the fiscal year 2007 as the figures for 2007 have already been reported to.

Thank you,

Regards,
Kevin

What changes did you make to the number ranges and in which system (PRD?) What postings did you make? We are not mind-readers and cannot see your screen, so please give us some more clues.

RE:[sap-acct] Customer Invoice Partial Payment

Posted by Arunrnair
on Jul 1 at 2:34 AM
Hi,

If you want to partially apply any invoice, you need to tag the invoice and balance amount put in residual item. and you need to change the bline date as invoice date and also you can change the discount term as appear in the invoice. Also you need to update the inv No. in assignment and update the text "partially applied".
By changing the bline date and discount term, you will get the correct and accurate aging report . And if the customer avail the discount on balance amount in their next check run, SAP will show the exact discount amount which customer is eligible.

I hope, i answered your question.

thanks & Regrds

I have defined my FSV and for bank accounts, intercompany accounts and some payroll accounts have configured it so that if the balance is DR or CR the system will reassign it as asset or liability. However where my prior year is DR and the current year is Credit balance then i am getting my balance sheet amounts with a negative sign (as SAP credits have negative sign) and also in brackets.
For example I have a payroll control account balance that is a credit balance and it is now displayed in balances sheet as
(-250000).
Please help me

Change the validity date, make it inactive via the menu or get security to issue you access.

RE:[sap-acct] User Authorisation by Profit Center Wise Control

Validation exit or BTE.

You'll need to run through the posting document and find the PCA's that should not be posted together and produce an error message.

Note, that documents will post from MM and SD too. So the above should only be done for FI postings. For SD and MM postings use the SD userexits and MM BADI's if needed.

Subject: User Authorisation by Profit Center Wise Control

Hi SAPs

I have a requirement of Controlling Document entry as per Profit Center Wise.

For Example, 2 PCA/

PCA A and PCA B.

Users from PCA should not allowed to post any transaction on PCA B and vice versa.

I created role matrix with Basis and assigned, But nowhere we find option for PCA. But My client required this Control.

How to do this ?

Can we do this With Validation Rule ?

If it is possible through Validation, then please, help on this with some valuable input...?

Hi
It will calculate always when there is a difference in group currency. I would suggest you to configure a clearing acct with currency type 30 to a currency translation acct.

Subject: F-28 - Group currency issue when clearing when transaction and LC curr are the same

When posting payment via F-28 we are getting currency gain/lost in group currency. The transaction and local currency are CLP. We are selling and receiving payment in CLP. Our group currency is USD. We are wanting to not see a currency gain/lost in USD when receiving payment. We would like the system to use the CLP:USD exchange rate in place at the time of the sale when we post the payment. Does any one have any advice on how to have the system to not calculate a currency gain/lost in group currency when document currency and local currency are the same the the currency used for the sales and cash payment?
