Hi Vidhya,

Please be advised Business Areas are not allocated to company codes but to other elements like cost centers or plants in MM if you wish so.

Be informed SAP will no longer support business areas in the future as they have been replaced by profit center (New General Ledger) that derive to segments if need be ?

Subject: Business Area missing in the document entry view of the document

Hi

I am afraid if that is possible.

Business areas (*) are free floating structures capable of getting data from
one or more company codes during document posting. Therefore, I am not too
sure if there an one to one assignment between a company code and a business
area. As far as I know it is cost center which is the only entity which is
company code-centric. All other entities such as profit centers, business
areas and segments are not assigned to a company code.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Regards
