A Business Area is usually assigned to a cost center and the cost center is
usually assigned to a company code. The same business area can be assigned
to multiple cost centers belonging to different company codes and therefore
a business area can get its data from more than one company code also.

So it means that the Business Area is not assigned to Company code...& only
to profit center. or the company..Right
