Hi Heidi, I would be very interested to know if you find a solution for this.

My client still has a nightmare with this where users have since left, and where vendors & cost centres have since been blocked.

I too was able to amend entries in ECC, but SRM. I cannot find a way to do this on mass and without having to re-create all the past users and master data.

Subject: Deleting old PO commitments on Cost Centres

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to delete old unwanted Cost Centre commitments that were created by SRM Purchase Orders.

My client has never carried forward cost centre commitments so when they done this for the first time earlier this year, they carried forward over ?20 million of commitments (thousands of individual entries). They were expecting to de-commit these one by one by setting the relevant indicators in the SRM PO items, however, because some of these are over 5 years old they are hitting a lot of problems with users who no longer exist, cost centres that are locked, other organizational data and vendors that have changed or been deleted etc. They have asked if these commitments can be deleted on mass.

Now I seem to remember there being a report that deletes commitments, but I can't remember.

Does anyone know how to delete commitments on mass?

Thanks a lot.

Gary
