Actually these configurations are client oriented not company code. That's why i think there is no need to create another tax code. We are using the same chart of accounts and same GL in these company code.May be you're right.

In the new company code you have to assign a New Tax code & not the same tax
codes. Prior to this you should assign the Tax procedure to the Country
India version.
Than I think so there wont be any problem
