Hi Satty

Please explore into the innards of the screen(s) shown by the system when
you type the T Code AFAMA. As an example , you could explore Depreciation
key DG30 .

You can see that this depreciation key starts with WDV method subject to 3
times the straightline method (upto 30%) and changes over to straight line
method using the multi level method of the depreciation key. The system
computes both straight line method and WDV method each year and picks the
most beneficial method and the multi level method of depreciation in the
depreciation key helps achieve this.

You would get a better idea when you explore for yourself.
