Hi As rightly suggested by Samya, you can use T Code OAOA or the IMG Path as furnished : IMG >financial accounting>asset accounting->asset class->define asset class It is always easier and a recommended method to create a new asset class by copying from an existing asset class. By copying and creating , both the sections of an asset class ( master data and depreciation area sections , respectively ) are automatically created for your new asset class. If you create your asset class from scratch ( using new entries method ), then your overheads are doubled since you have to create both the master data section and the depreciation area section, as well.
