There is issue with asset accounting.
For a particular asset (AUC) is having acquisitions, subsequent postings and goods receipts.
Then on year end 12th of 2010 asset is Retirmt transfer of curr-yr acquis by using transaction type 320, Asset is deactivated.
For goods receipts which I mention above are not invoiced yet, now client wants to invoice and need to pay the vendor.
But system not allowed because of the asset is deactivated.
To activate there are two options.
1. Reverse the retirement posting then system automatically activate the asset.
2. Screen layout for the asset master assigned to asset class AUC is in display mode, need to change deactivation field as optional and change.
Can any body help me how to do the first option?
