Hi,

Capitalization date is the date from which the system will treat an asset is
created and it will start calculating the depreciation based on the business
requirement (it may be monthly, quarterly etc)
BZDAT

Since the asset value date can have a direct influence on the amount of
depreciation, the system creates a default value when it can. Normally both
the date will be the same

Please check the Capitalization & Asset value date and let us know whether
it resolves your query
