I am afraid you got me wrong Zunaid or ...perhaps I got your requirement
wrong.
What I was suggesting was posting entire depreciation to another cost center
(2000 in your case) for a given time frame and then posting depreciation
back to the original cost center (Cost Center 1000 in your case )
thereafter. There is no question of depreciation being shared across cost
centers.

This is not working. I changed the cost centre to 2000 but still entire depreciation is posted to new cost centre.
