In NEW GL, even the parallel ledger data flows to Controlling because of the profit center assignments. Thats how the control is set...

Hi folks,
We are on ECC 6.0 and we are using the new G/L. I am trying to explore if CO allocations can be set up on the parallel ledger. From all the documentations I have read so far, only the leading ledger is supposed to be updated by the CO data. However, from my testing so far, it seems that the parallel ledger is getting updated by the CO data and the new G/L summary table also seems to be getting the parallel ledger data. I was wondering if someone who has used parallel ledger on the new G/L can help me understand this.
