[sap-acct] 1099MISC reporting for rewards given through 3rd party company

Hi experts,

We are using SAP 4.7 and beginning September 2011 ECC 6.0 EHP4 and utilize RFIDYYWT for our 1099M reporting for many years now.

Our marketing department created a new program to give rewards to store-managers of our franchisee partners. The handling is done via a 3rd party company that bills us for the material and services.

Now, since quite many have a value above 600 USD (not our costs!) we need to send 1009M to those people receiving the rewards (if that is correct at all).

The 1099M program from SAP relies on vendor records and posted documents to generate the 1099Ms.But our controller does not want to see vendor master records and financial posting being created for that...unless there is no other way.

Can anybody give me a starting point / idea how can we make this work to include those people in our annual filing?

Even if we would have to create vendor records for those, what kind of posting needs to be done to capture the value of the reward w/o any financial impact?

Thanks in advance for any hint

Marc
