Hi

Usually you create a business area and assign it to a cost center and the
cost center is created company code-centrically. Therefore, I do not think
there is a direct one to one assignment of a business area to any single
company code.

Subject: Business Area missing in the document entry view of the document

Hi

I am afraid if that is possible.

Business areas (*) are free floating structures capable of getting data from
one or more company codes during document posting. Therefore, I am not too
sure if there an one to one assignment between a company code and a business
area. As far as I know it is cost center which is the only entity which is
company code-centric. All other entities such as profit centers, business
areas and segments are not assigned to a company code.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
